No matter where you are, 2020 is a tough year. You, me and everybody else on this planet are impacted by COVID-19 and its ripple effects one way or another. Challenges many people are facing may be once of a lifetime. When we are surrounded by such a devastating and violent winter storm, we must hold on to a truth that this shall pass and the spring has been on its way. Although we can not plough our lands and sow our seeds yet, we still can preserve energy, sharpen our saws and get ready for the upcoming good season.
Getting To Know HSK is a brief introduction to help you get a big picture about HSK. It aims to show a big picture about the exam. You will get some general information vital to your planning and preparation, such as: what is HSK? Which skills are tested? If a learner doesn't know how to write or even read Chinese characters yet, can he/she take HSK exams? etc.
In a second section we offer you valuable tips about registration and test preparation tips, from choosing your test center, assembling an exam kit to tips for preparing yourself.
(Should you choose to learn and grow, it may be even possible to get an HSK during social-distancing or even lockdown, because in some countries exam takers are allowed to do computer-based HSK test at home under supervision. )
